I Love My Wife
My Spouse and I NEVER have to work at our marriage which is so natural and one of the infinite reasons why I love my wife.
I told my wife I wanted to buy a bunch of DVDs of my favourite 80’s children’s cartoon, which she has no interest in. She convinced me to get the more expensive BluRays. I love my wife ♥
My husband always makes me feel appreciated for my contributions to the life we’re building together. ♥
I love my wife: she’s the smartest person I know, and has taught me more than anyone else. ♥
At the moment I’m married to the sea (not my first marriage, by the way) and have discovered my spouse to be a wonderful singer of lullabyes and, of course, nautical songs. ♥
I think he’s the funniest man in the world. ♥
My husband will watch TV shows and movies that I loved as a child, and talks about them in terms of what he thinks he would have liked as a child, rather than what is clearly not very good from an adult perspective. It makes me feel safe to share things that I loved uncritically knowing that he won’t rip them down. ♥
Interrupted Ironing!
My husband took the iron from my hands as I was ironing my clothes for work and completed the whole lot for me, so I could work on my lesson plans instead. Thanks baby! ♥
My husband is passionate about his career and his hobbies. Even when I don’t care about the specifics, I love to hear him talk about them because he speaks with such energy and dedication! ♥
When I started my book blog, my husband created a propaganda-style poster of my favourite line from The Sword in the Stone for me to include. It’s PERFECT. ♥
